All fees are for 50-minute consultations.
Medicare Rebates
You do not need a referral to see one of our psychologists and can attend as a private client at any time.
If you wish to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need to meet Medicare eligibility requirements and have a Mental Health Treatment Plan referral from your GP.
Eligible patients can receive Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual mental health treatment services per calendar year under the Better Access initiative.
An initial course of treatment usually includes up to 6 sessions. If further sessions are appropriate, you will need to return to your referring practitioner for a review before accessing additional Medicare-rebated sessions.
Where we have the required referral information, we can process your Medicare claim following your appointment.
Private Health Insurance
If your private health insurance includes psychology as part of your extras cover, you may be eligible for a rebate towards the cost of your appointments.
Rebates and annual limits vary between insurers and policies. We recommend checking with your health fund whether psychology and telehealth psychology are included in your cover.
You cannot claim both a Medicare rebate and a private health insurance rebate for the same appointment.
Payment & Cancellations
Payment is required for each consultation.
Cancellation fees may apply to late cancellations or missed appointments. Medicare and private health insurance rebates are not available for cancellation or non-attendance fees.

Common Medicare Questions
Do Medicare rebates apply to online psychology appointments?
Yes. Eligible telehealth psychology appointments can attract Medicare rebates when Medicare's eligibility and referral requirements are met.
What if I've already seen another psychologist this year?
The Medicare limit applies across eligible Better Access individual mental health treatment services received during the calendar year. It does not start again if you change psychologists or practices.
What happens when I've used my Medicare-rebated sessions?
You can continue seeing your psychologist privately if further therapy is appropriate. If you have private health insurance with psychology extras cover, you may also be able to claim a private health rebate for subsequent appointments, depending on your policy.
